2021 Summer Concert Series at the Red Dragon Canoe Club, Shipman Mansion
To quote the Beverly Bee’s write-up of the series:
This year’s “free performances are from 7:00pm to 8:30pm on the lawn of the Shipman Mansion, 221 Edgewater Avenue in Edgewater Park. Hot dogs and other concessions will be available starting at 6pm. Bring your lawn chair and join the fun! Shows will cancel in the event of weather. Updates on the Red Dragon Facebook page.”

Wednesday, June 9th – Cintron’s Inca Band - Santana Tribute
“Internationally known Latin percussionist Edgardo Cintron brings his Santana tribute back to the Shipman Mansion. The Willingboro native is a great showman and always puts on a great show!”
Wednesday, June 23rd – Paul Downie and Friends – Reggae and New Orleans Drummer and Vocalist
“Paul Downie leads an upbeat band performing a lively blend of reggae, jazz, and New Orleans R&B… along the lines of the Neville Brothers and with a little Sonny Rollins and Bob Marley for good measure! They present lots of creative covers along with Paul’s original tunes.”
Wednesday, July 7th – OMGB - Classic Rock
“OMGB or ‘Old Man Garage Band’ plays classic rock. This 4-piece band from Edgewater Park was listed in the “Best of Burlington” voting in the Burlington County Times, two years in a row and returns to Shipman as a crowd favorite.”
Wednesday, July 21st – Lisa Chavous – Blues/R&B
“Lisa Chavous and the Philadelphia Blues Messengers bring high powered Blues and R&B to Edgewater Park. France’s Nouvelle Vague Magazine described Lisa Chavous as “the next Tina Turner” in a review of their tour of the South of France and the Cote D’Azur. The Blues invasion is in full effect and the Message is the Blues!”
Wednesday, August 4th – Jet Weston and his Atomic Ranch Hands – Country/Americana

The Shipman Mansion Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and is a Mercantile Licensee member of Edgewater Park’s business and organization community. The Red Dragon Canoe Club operates out of this beautiful mansion on the Delaware River.
