ALERT from Mayor Azunnah “Charles” Amutah…

Small Landlord Emergency Grant Program

The application portal for the Small Landlord Emergency Grant Program opens on Wednesday, August 18, 2020 at 9 am!

Tomorrow, applications open for NJHMFA's Small Landlord Emergency Grant (SLEG) Program, which will reimburse small residential rental property owners for lost rent revenue due to COVID-19 between April and July 2020.

Although applications are not first come, first served and are open for a week, we urge you to prepare your documents and make sure you're ready to apply.

It is more important to have your application be correct and accurate than it is to submit early.

“We (DCA – the NJ Department of Community Affairs) anticipate high application volumes. If you are unable to submit your application, please try again later. Please note that the application period ends August 26.”

On behalf of Edgewater Park Township Committee and Administrator Tom Pullion, I strongly urge all small landlords in our township to apply for this grant.

Good luck to all!
