Accident Reports

Accident Reports are available five business days after the date of the accident. Cost for accident reports are the same as any other report. (See Above)

Note: No Police Reports will be given out when the business office is closed, for any reason.

Fingerprinting

The Edgewater Park Twp. Police Department offers fingerprinting for Firearms Applications and Employment applications ONLY! The Police Department is not able to fingerprint for Immigration or other purposes.

Firearms Applications

Residents of Edgewater Park may pick up firearms applications at the Police Department during business hours only. Firearms applications must be filled out COMPLETELY. References must have complete addresses and phone numbers.

If you have never been fingerprinted for a firearms ID card, or it has been over one year since you were last fingerprinted, you must have a money order in the amount of $60.25 made payable to the DIVISION OF STATE POLICE-SBI. If you provide any other type of payment, your application WILL BE DENIED.

A permit to purchase a pistol will not be issued to anyone who does not have a firearms purchaser ID. You will be contacted, by phone, when your ID or permit to purchase is ready to be picked up. The fee for a purchasers ID card is $5.00 and the permit to purchase is $2.00. This may be in cash or check. If you are using a check, then make the check payable to EDGEWATER PARK POLICE.

of 9:00 A.M. and 4:30 P.M.

Alarm Registration

Township residents MUST register their home alarms with the Police Department. Applications are completed and a $10.00 Registration Fee is due.
