Edgewater Park Residents

Dogs must be licensed annually during the month of January. All Dogs – seven months of age or older – are required by New Jersey law to be licensed and vaccinated for rabies. There is also a limit on the number of dogs and cats that are permitted in a residence.Any residence may contain only a total of six dogs or cats altogether, except that a litter or portion there-of may be kept for a period of five months without a permit issued by the board of health annually.

Dog owners may apply in person at the Municipal Building on Delanco Road. The fee for neutered/spayed dogs between January 1^st to the 31^st$13.00, non-neutered/non-spayed is $16.00; after January 31^st fees are $14.00 and $17.00 respectively.Proof of current rabies, which shall be current by November 1^st of the licensing year, is required for each license.Proof of neutering or spaying if not previously received by the Township is also required.Registration by mail is permissible by submitting a check, made payable to the Township of Edgewater Park, with proofs required and a SELF ADDRESSED STAMPED ENVELOPE. You may also come in person to the Clerk’s Office. Licenses may be obtained Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
