A federal judge in California ordered that the Census2020 deadline return to its normal October 31 ending date, rather than the September 30, then October 5 deadlines.

However, the U.S. Supreme Court later ruled that the Census could be ended early.  According to an ABC News report and others, the Census data collection ended on Thursday, October 15, 2020.  The Census 2020 counting has now ended.
