Duties & Responsibilities
The commission is authorized:
To acquire, construct, maintain, operate, improve equipment for the collection of sewage within the district.
To conduct or contract for engineering studies and plans looking forward to an orderly development of sewage disposal facilities within the sub-district;
To recommend to Edgewater Park Township Committee as population growth and need for sewage disposal facilities develop;
To exercise the power of eminent domain.

Public Notice
The Edgewater Park Sewerage Authority pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:14A-8, et seq. hereby provides notice of a public hearing to be held at the Authority’s office located at 1123 Cooper, Street, Edgewater Park, New Jersey on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, starting promptly at 6:30 p.m. The purpose of the hearing is to conduct a public hearing on a proposed rate increase on user charges for residential and commercial customers. Formal action may be taken by the Authority at this hearing.
