Dark In The Park returns! Come out & join us on October 26th!
Hi, Everyone!
The Edgewater Park Township Parks & Community Engagement Committee plans to bring back Dark in the Park for 2024. This was a highly requested event from our residents and students.
If you weren’t here for Dark in the Park’s heyday, it was a Halloween event where residents, clubs, organizations, and businesses created Halloween-themed skits and attendees walked along a path to view – either a kid friendly section or a scarier section. We also plan to invite food trucks and have a pumpkin patch with hayride.
Last year’s Halloween event was a huge success with a large turnout. This year promises to be even bigger – but we need your help! We are having a volunteer kickoff meeting on May 23 at 7pm in the municipal building to determine if the event is doable and select the time and date.
If you are interested, please attend our meeting or reply to this email so we can follow up with you. Also please feel free to share our meeting date with anyone who may be interested.
Thank you!
Kim Thomas - Chair
Parks & Community Engagement Committee

Planning Begins for Edgewater Park’s 100th Anniversary
The Township of Edgewater Park, the “Small Town with a Big Heart,” will turn 100 years old in 2024. To mark this important Centennial, the Edgewater Park Township 100th Anniversary Sub-Committee is looking for volunteers to help plan, organize, and fundraise for this birthday celebration.
Any interested current or former resident is invited to attend monthly planning meetings, held in the Courtroom at the Edgewater Park Township Municipal Building, 400 Delanco Road. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of every month at 6 p.m. in the Municipal Building.
Volunteer Kim Thomas has designed the 100th Anniversary banner above and is creating most of the posters for events and fundraisers, so we thank her for her civic participation!
Do you have any old photographs and/or artifacts from Edgewater Park’s past that you would be willing to lend or donate for the celebration? Please let us know. You can follow us on our Facebook page, both the PCE page and 100th Anniversary sub-committee pages:
